While in Redding California, we took a short trip to see the Lake Shasta Caverns. The 2 hour trip included a fun ride in an old bus down to the lake, then a short trip across the lake in a boat, then another fun bus ride up the side of a mountain (we gained 1500 feet) in elevation. The tour was very informative and the girls had fun exploring. It was well worth the $$.
