Illegal aliens have an easier time getting into California than we did trying to leave Pigeon Forge! It took us 1hr 20 min to drive 9 miles to the freeway. I was ready for lunch by the time we did get to I40, but after that everything was smooth sailing. We spent most of the day driving up and down tree covered hills and enjoyed the cooler weather. Our cat Bella, is somewhat confused because every time she looks out the window of the trailer she gets a different view. Her surface search radar has locked onto a small chipmunk but due to the window, she can't attack. We are off today for a short drive to the Memphis area where we will spend 2 days touring.
